The Come, Lord Jesus! program has three active prayer groups in our parish. Members become persons of deep prayer, who know and love the scriptures as they witness their faith in word and deed in our parish as well as share their unique gifts with a small faith community. Weekly meetings are held in the home of a member on a day and time chosen by the group. V Mrs. Jane Broussard's mixed group (male and female members) meets on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. V Mrs. Claudell Thibodeaux's mixed group meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. V Mrs. Phyllis LeBlanc's ladies' group meets on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m.
New groups and members are welcomed and encouraged. Interested persons should contact the church office for more information. |

Church Cleaning Crew(s)
Two groups of parishioners rotate cleaning duties at 7:00 a.m. on Thursdays mornings. Those who are interested in lending a hand in this ministry are encouraged to call the church office. |

Adult Ministries |

Members of our Catholic Daughter organization often gather at local funeral homes where they pray the Rosary for the repose of the souls of members and/or their immediate families. In addition, they also prepare and deliver food to members' homes on the day of the funeral. As the holiday season approaches, the ladies collect, organize, and deliver canned and staple goods for their annual food drive for the needy in our area. New members are always welcome to attend the meetings which are held on the third Thursday of each month (except July and August). |

Rosary Group
We currently have a group of parishioners who gather to pray a Rosary in a member's home every Wednesday morning during hurricane season at 10:00 am. |

Ladies Altar Society Call the church office (337-937-6888) for contact information.
Aside from assisting with the liturgical needs of the church, the Altar Society provides floral decorations for Church feasts. Like the Catholic Daughters, the ladies in the Altar Society recite the rosaries at local funeral homes for the repose of the souls of female parishioners. |

Knights of Columbus, Council 3872 Local Council's website:
As described on the local council's website, the "Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled, and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief, and public relief works."
The Knights are pleased to have approximately 225 names on their current roster. The organization meets in our parish hall at 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month. |
