The insurance collection for the month of January has been postponed to the weekend of January 23-24 because of last weekend's emergency second collection to support the relief efforts and victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
Parish Office closure: Our parish office will be closed on Monday, 25 January 2010.
There will be no weekday Holy Mass in our Church Parish on Monday and Tuesday, January 25-26.
Registration for the Life Teen Spring Retreat is being held until February 1. The retreat will be held on March 5, 6, and 7 at Camp Woodman. Registration forms are available at the Church entrance. For more information speak to Scott Bernard.
The Annual Knights of Columbus Barbecued Pork Steak Dinner fundraiser will be held on Sunday, March 21, at the Erath Community Building from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from any KC member for $6.00 each.
2010 calendars are now available for pick up near the doors of the Church. Earl’s Furniture Store, Dr. John Thibodeaux, Champagne’s Supermarket, and Otto Hebert Lumber, Inc. sponsored the calendars. Please patronize these businesses and thank them for their assistance.
Postponed: The January 7 presentation by Chad and Ashley Judice, the parents of a child named Eli who was born with spina bifida, has been postponed until a later date. Chad Judice has written a book, Waiting for Eli, about the Lafayette couple’s inspiring story of learning that their child would be born handicapped. Books will be available for purchase at the presentation.
Parishioners who would like to cook a meal (or donate money to help provide a meal) for LifeNights should sign the sheet located on the small table underneath the choir loft staircase in church. |
